(Chicago)??Josh Marks, featured on the mega hit FOX television cooking show "MasterChef" returns home to Chicago to support the Real Men Charities??"Real Men Building Healthy Kids and Strengthening Families" project as Real Men Cook's national spokesperson and to celebrate International Men's Day at Macy's flagship State Street store.

Josh Marks, a striking seven-foot tall former basketball star for?Tougaloo College in Jackson, Mississippi, where he earned an economics degree - cum laude - in 2009,?wowed foodies with his remarkable culinary talents during the third season of "Master Chef".??While he didn't win the big prize, Josh says his celebrity status as second place winner allows him to share his message of healthy eating and formula for success with young people.

In re-establishing his Chicago roots, Josh says he's honored to join Real Men Charities as their official spokesperson, "I am proud to contribute to their longstanding international reputation and legacy of promoting positive male images, building families and encouraging healthy eating."?As national spokesperson for the Real Men Cook brand, Josh will host Father's Day events, a tradition in Chicago and throughout the country where men give up Father's Day pampering to serve and to forward a message of fatherhood.

Yvette Moyo, co-founder, Real Men Cook and RMC Charities says, "Josh is the quintessential example of what Real Men Charities represents and he allows us to reach the Y-generation in a high impact manner.??He's only 25, family focused and destined for phenomenal entrepreneurial success."

The Real Men Building Healthy Kids and Strengthening Families project is an Englewood based program funded by Blue Cross Blue Shield of Illinois and operates with the mantra??"Everything Good Grows in Englewood" which counters the community's prevailing negative image.??"I grew-up on the Southside, says Josh Marks, "I am just one of the areas many success stories and the Real Men Cook alliance allows me to identify and create new models of success for youth."

The Eat to Live Garden and Farm Development programs?teach Englewood Youth the principals, merit and how-to's of Farm-to-Table initiatives.??The program is designed to impact the Englewood food dessert by teaching youth how to create urban farms where they can grow their own fresh produce. Ms. Moyo said,??"The program has effectively?changed behavior and attitudes that serve to reduce and prevent obesity, diabetes and other food-related disease."

During his weeklong tour, Chef Marks will visit Yale elementary school and share his much celebrated pecan pie recipe with culinary students. Monday, November 19 he will kick-off International Men's Day with an anti-violence panel discussion following a film screening of William Cochran's film "Englewood" at 6:00pm, Yale Elementary School (70th?and Princeton).

He culminates his visit Tuesday evening with an exclusive invitation-only dinner party at Macy's department store that features over fifty of Chicago's leading men gathering in celebration of International Men's Day.??Chef Marks will, again, dazzle participants with his fresh and exciting culinary talents and officially launch his association with Real Men Charities as national spokesperson
