Position Description
CGC is seeking an experienced consultant to lead projects and clients through performance management, strategic planning, business transformation and stakeholder engagement efforts. The Project Lead will be responsible for managing federal clients, as well as a project team. The Project Lead will be responsible for developing the project approach, leading multiple project teams independently, creating, managing and quality checking client deliverables, fostering client relationships, mentoring other consultants, and report/respond to request from Portfolio Managers.

Qualified applicants should possess the ability to develop approaches to a diverse range of client needs, demonstrate the ability to collaborate effectively, and be able to take initiative and apply solution-oriented thinking in his/her interactions with our clients and with CGC team members.

Minimum Qualifications
The following qualifications are required for all candidates:

  • Graduate degree with 5+ years of consulting experience, or a Bachelors degree with 7+ years of consulting experience.
  • Mastery of management consulting skills including: strong writing, editing, speaking, presentation, facilitation, computing, analysis and interpersonal skills. (Including extensive experience with the Microsoft suite of programs ? Word, Excel, Project, Power Point, Visio).
  • Extensive experience in Organizational Performance Metrics Development and Performance Management.
  • Extensive experience in meeting planning and management, and large and small group facilitation.
  • Extensive experience leading/managing projects and project teams (including staff, budget and schedule).
  • Working knowledge of Business Process Re-engineering and Process Improvement.
  • Working knowledge of Program Evaluation.
  • Working knowledge of Survey Design and Administration, and Qualitative and Quantitative Data Analysis.
  • Experience in Organizational Development and Change Management.
  • Experience in working with senior level executives in the Federal Government.

Salary is commensurate with experience. CGC offers an exceptional employee benefits package, including vacation time, health insurance and retirement. The majority of project work is performed at CGC?s office in Arlington, Virginia and at various client sites around the Washington, DC area. Occasional travel may be required.
